# About StackTrekker

Published August 24, 2026 · Updated September 29, 2026
## What StackTrekker is

StackTrekker is an independent site about the tools people actually run their work on: Notion, spreadsheets, and automation platforms like Zapier and Make.com. No product news, no feature round-ups: the articles here are setup guides, fixes, comparisons, and templates you can use the same day you read them.

It's written for freelancers, small teams, and operations people who keep their work in one of these tools and want that work to take less time, not more.

## Who publishes it

StackTrekker is published by **YK Proje**, a small software studio that builds and operates its own web tools. The site is edited in-house, and articles are signed **StackTrekker Editorial**.

We don't publish individual author profiles with invented credentials. A byline here means the editorial team wrote and checked the piece, nothing more. We'd rather say that plainly than dress it up.

## How the guides are made

- **Sources:** every guide starts from the tool's official documentation and the product's own interface: the menu names, formulas, and error messages you'll see in your own account.
- **Link checks:** every external link on a page is fetched and checked before that page goes live. A source that no longer resolves is replaced or removed, so the documentation links here point at pages that actually load.
- **Steps you can check:** instructions are numbered, with copy-ready formulas, files, and settings, so you can verify each step as you follow it.
- **Updates:** articles show the date they were last updated. When a tool changes something we've written about, we revise the article and change that date.
- **Limits:** software behaviour depends on your plan, your region, and your settings. Where something only applies in certain cases, we say so. If we can't verify a detail, we leave it out instead of guessing.

## What we don't do

- No sponsored posts or paid placements
- No invented authors, testers, or customer reviews: there's no fake expert quote or five-star rating anywhere on this site
- No claim about a tool that its own documentation doesn't support
- No padding: if a topic needs 700 words, that's what it gets

## Corrections

If something here is wrong or out of date, email **contact@stacktrekker.com** with the page URL and what you saw. We fix it and the update date changes. That's the whole process, and it's the fastest way to make the site more accurate for the next reader.

## Money

StackTrekker doesn't use affiliate links today and doesn't run sponsored content. If that changes, the [disclosure page](/disclosure/) will say so, and any post with a commercial link will say so at the top.
