# Affiliate & Ad Disclosure

Published August 24, 2026 · Updated September 17, 2026
## Disclosure

Transparency first: **how this site makes money.**

## Affiliate links

**StackTrekker does not use affiliate links today.** No link on this site earns us a commission.

If that changes, this page will be updated first, and every post containing a commercial link will say so in a note at the top, including what the link earns us. And the rule stays the same either way:

- **You never pay more**: the price is identical whether or not you arrive through our link
- **Commission never changes a recommendation.** A guide here can tell you a tool is the wrong fit for your job; that's not something a commission can buy

## Advertising

StackTrekker doesn't display ads right now. If we add Google AdSense, ads will be clearly labeled and this page will be updated before the first one appears.

## How the site is funded

StackTrekker is funded by **YK Proje**, the studio that publishes it. That's deliberate: nobody pays us for a recommendation, so an article can say "don't use this for that" and still get published.
